Computer and Digital Forensics
This programme will equip students with the most up-to-date skills to carry out comprehensive technical analysis of networks and computers. The student learns about file formats, data recovery techniques, networking and routing, communication protocols and security, cryptography, reverse engineering, and investigative techniques. The student will be exposed to and use industry computer forensic tools such as X-Ways, Magnet AXIOM, UFED Cellebrite, and Passware. The students will also learn the techniques and processes that allow them to recover, trace and capture digital data, and gain experience in preparing and presenting data as digital evidence to both business and legal audiences.

Cybersecurity

Data Analytics
This programme will equip students with the skills to solve business problems based on statistical techniques used to understand and analyse big and complex data with descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, and predictive analytics. The student will also be introduced to data mining processes which are used to evaluate system informatics for data modeling, monitoring, pattern recognition, and control.

Data Science

Cybersecurity

This includes core security concepts and skills needed to monitor, detect, investigate, analyze, and respond to cybercrime, cyberespionage, insider threats, advanced persistent threats, regulatory requirements, and other cybersecurity issues facing organizations. Software Development
This programme will equip students with a specific understanding of the theories, concepts, processes, methods, and tools used for software development and their application to the development of solutions that have real value. Students will be provided with the in-depth technical knowledge, understanding, and skills needed to become effective software development professionals capable of working in highly technical roles to develop the software systems required by modern businesses. Students will learn to design and build software applications, websites, and mobile apps using a variety of programming languages such as C# and Java, and frameworks on our Software Development specialization. Green Logistics and Supply Chain Management
This programme will equip students with the skills and knowledge which will cause a firm to attain its economic targets, minimize environmental hazards, reduce its harmful environmental effects, and enhance the ecological efficiency of the firm and its partners across the supply chain. The programme provides students a comprehensive view of the subject that illustrates the environmental impacts of logistics and the actions that companies can take to deal with them. The programme exposes students to various ways in which freight transport adversely affects the environment, how the impact can be measured, and how environmental standards can be imposed. In particular, the focus will be on key topics like carbon auditing of supply chains; transferring freight to greener transport modes; reducing the environmental impact of warehousing; improving the energy efficiency of freight transport; making city logistics more environmentally sustainable; and the role of government in promoting sustainable logistics. In addition, the students will be updated on the recent developments in green logistics such as distribution by drone, 3D printing, physical Internet, and the concept of “peak freight” that has the potential to reduce the impact of logistics on environment.

Risk Management

Green & Blue Economy
This programme in Green Economy and Sustainability is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the challenges and opportunities of our changing economy. With a focus on environmentally and socially friendly practices, this programme prepares the students for roles in Corporate Social Responsibility and sustainability across various industries. Students will study a range of subjects including environmental economics, financial management, and resource and energy economics. With flexible course options and the opportunity to conduct research, this programme offers a unique learning experience.
The aim of this programme is to give students a broad understanding of the critical balance between economy and use, on the one hand, and ecosystem sustainability on the other, of marine industrial activities such as fisheries, aquaculture, shipping, offshore and tourism, and maritime activities of major importance for the society and how these activities are managed and regulated in various regions of the world. The programme is also an introduction to how marine and maritime resources are owned and governed at national, regional, and global levels, and how different commercial activities can affect the marine environment and how they could be sustainably managed.

Climate Change Development & Policies
This programme will equip students with an in-depth understanding of Earth’s climate system and the skills and knowledge to effectively communicate the consequences of a changing environment. The course begins with an exploration of climate, climate science, and the greenhouse effect before moving onto the history and development of Earth’s structures and their relation to surface climate. The students will learn about specific climates associated with Earth’s biomes, their reaction to climate change, and how to differentiate Earth’s most important climate regulation biogeochemical cycles. The students will also be introduced to the climate response strategies in regard to sustainable energy, renewable resources, and types of production.
